The one square mile neighborhood is made up of approximately fifty homes and no commercial properties. The roads are unpaved rural residential, lacking traffic control signs. They are used by the residents for walking, jogging, riding horses and bicycles. We oppose the trucking operation and request that the Planning Commission take the following into consideration in making their decision to approve or deny the Site Specific Development Plan. 1. The lack of traffic control signs in the area poses a significant safety hazard to the residents, their pets, property, and livestock. 2. The traffic will create significant clouds of dust. 3. There will be an increase in traffic and traffic noise. We believe in general, that the proposed use is incompatible with the desires and life style of the neighboring residents, and respectfully request a denial of the Site Specific Development Plan.
