RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAMILIES, YOUTH, AND
CHILDREN COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Families, Youth, and Children Commission,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Susan West be appointed to said board as an
additional child protection team representative,that William Garcia be appointed as an additional
attorney representative, and that Carla Silva be appointed to said board to replace Joe Gerber as
the probation representative, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tony Molocznik and Theodore Palmisano be
reappointed to said board, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to Susan West,William Garcia,and Carla Silva
to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2006, December 31, 2006, and December 31,
2005, respectively;and to reappoint Tony Molocanik and Theodore Palmisano to said board,with
terms to expire December 31, 2006.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Susan West,William Garcia,and Carla Silva be,and herebyare,appointed
to the Families, Youth, and Children Commission, with terms to expire December 31, 2006,
December 31, 2006, and December 31, 2005, respectively.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Tony Molocznik and Theodore Palmisano
be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Families, Youth, and Children Commission, with terms t6
expire December 31, 2006.
