Masden, Chair Commissioner William H. Jerke, Pro-Tem Commissioner M. J. Geile Commissioner David E. Long - EXCUSED Commissioner Glenn Vaad Also present: Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman Health Department representative, Char Davis Public Works representative, Donald Carroll The following business was transacted: I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated August 6, 2004, and duly published August 11, 2004, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted on August 25, 2004, to consider the request of Robert Carpenter and David Lottman for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1469 for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right in the Industrial Zone District (storage of vehicles and equipment associated with a laser leveling machine to strike off and level concrete) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue the hearing to October 6, 2004, due to a death in the family of one of the applicants and to allow Planning Services staff adequate time to post the sign. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicants'representative,Thomas Hellerich of Winters, Hellerich and Hughes, P.C., has requested this application be withdrawn since the property is going to be sold. Commissioner Geile moved to accept the request of Robert Carpenter and David Lottman to withdraw the application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1469 for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right in the Industrial Zone District(storage of vehicles and equipment associated with a laser leveling machine to strike off and level concrete) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Vaad, and it carried unanimously.
