Dear Mr. Hauss:
The Department of Planning Services reviewed your request to drill an industrial well for Action
Oil Field Services east of County Road 49 and approximately %4 mile south of County Road 46.
Staff has determined that the well location is located outside the Amended USR-734 boundary
for Action Oil Field Services and this proposal is a substantial change to the existing permit.
Given this determination, a second amended Use by Special Review application is warranted. I
have attached a Use by Special Review application.

This letter is regarding an industrial well Action Oilfield Services is in the process of
drilling. We are located on the corner of weld county road 46 and 49 our legal description
is section 19 township 4 range 64 west.There will, be a map attached to this document for
better understanding of what we are trying to accomplish, I need to know if there is any
permitting required.
This well will be located off county road 49 between 46 and 44 there is already a
turnout there because of an_o l well tank battery. We would like to put a tank in ground
with a capacity of 21,00(! r Jallons and another tank with the capacity of 21,00Q1
Gallons we now have to drive into Greeley to get our water •c „e have already
augmented. This will save us approximately 20 miles when we can get it out of our yard.
Our trucks Will load approximately 2-3 loads per-day thus saving us time and money.
There will also be a small pump house approximately Sx8 feet in width and length and g
feet in height.

The company is using the water for their business Action Oil Field Services.
I think that since it is for their business and is an industrial well that it needs to be included in their USR., so an amended
U.SR will be required.

Lee,
Quick question....
Action Oil Field Service facility USR-734 (Golden Buckeye Petro Corp) located on the corner of CR 46 and CR 49
have submitted a request for an industrial well. They are proposing to drill this well outside of their existing USR
boundary. They want to put two tanks each with a capacity of 21,000 gallons in ground and an 8x8 pump house
shed. They state that the site will have approximately 2-3 trucks a day. Staff has concerns with the use of the water
being for their business that an amended USR would be required but on the same note we do recognize that this
could also be a use by right.
You thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
