RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO CHILD PROTECTION
CITIZEN REVIEW PANEL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Child Protection Citizen Review Panel, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that David Lawton be appointed to said board, to
replace Kelley Hekowczyk as a regular member, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Shelley MartindelCampo be reappointed to said
board as a regular member, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint David Lawton to said board, and to
reappoint Shelley MartindelCampo to said board, with terms to expire March 4, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that David Lawton be, and hereby is, appointed to the Child Protection Citizen
Review Panel, with a term to expire March 4, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Shelley MartindelCampo be reappointed
to said board, with a term to expire March 4, 2007.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 20th day of September, A.D., 2004.
