RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING PERIOD FOR
CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF THE ROTOMILLING FOR WCR 3.25
BID - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Purchasing has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for the Rotomilling Bid for Weld County Road 3.25 for the Department of Public Works,
Bid Request No. B0400115, to avoid disruption of the construction project, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to waive the
ten-day waiting period for said bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the ten-day waiting period for the Rotomilling Bid for Weld County
Road 3.25 for the Department of Public Works, Bid Request No. B0400115 be, and hereby is,
waived.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the low bid from Don Kehn
Construction in the amount of$14,180.60 be, and hereby is, accepted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of April, A.D., 2004.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Rotomilling for WCR 3.25
The Weld Coi iity,Public Works Department recommends that the Board of Weld County Commissioners accept
the low bid from.DDri Kehn Construction for rotomilling at two locations on WCR 3.25. An emergency approval is
requested in order,to keep construction work from being disrupted.
