RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL
SERVICES COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Emergency Medical Services Council, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 22nd day of December, 2004, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to December 29, 2004 at
9:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Deb Blandin be appointed to said board as the
Department of Public Health and Environment representative;that Dave Bressler be appointed as
the Paramedic Services representative; that Tracey Jones be appointed as the NCMC
representative, to replace Donovan Ehrman; Clint Heidenrich be appointed as the Northeast Fire
representative, to replace Marlene Richter; that Barry Schaefer be appointed as the Fire Chief's
Association representative, to replace Mark Gray; that Randy Souther be appointed as the Aims
Community College representative,to replace Barbara Foster; and that Ginger Suter be appointed
as the Greeley/Weld County Regional Communications Center representative,to replace Jon Baker,
and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dr.Jim Campain be reappointed to said board
as the Physician Advisory representative;that Mary Mast be reappointed as the Union Colony Fire
representative; and that Larry Sheets be reappointed as the Northwest Fire representative, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Randy Souther to said board,with his
term to be effective January 1,2002;and to appoint Dave Bressler, and Ginger Suter to said board,
with their terms to be effective January 1, 2003; and to appoint Deb Blandin, Tracey Jones, Clint
Heidenrich, and Barry Schaefer to said board, with terms to be effective January 1, 2004, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Mary Mast and Larry Sheets,to said
board, with their terms to be effective January 1, 2003; and to reappoint Dr. Jim Campain to said
board, with his term to be effective January 1, 2004.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Randy Souther be, and hereby is, appointed to the Emergency Medical
Services Council,with his term to be effective January 1,2002;that Dave Bressler and Ginger Suter
be, and hereby are, appointed to said board, with their terms to be effective January 1, 2003; and
that Deb Blandin,Tracey Jones,Clint Heidenrich,and Barry Schaefer be,and hereby are,appointed
to said board, with their terms to be effective January 1, 2004.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Mary Mast and Larry Sheets be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Emergency
Medical Services Council,with their terms to be effective January 1,2003;and that Dr.Jim Campain
be, and hereby is, reappointed to said board, with his term to be effective January 1, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 29th day of December, A.D., 2004, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2002.
