RE: APPROVAL OF CORRECTION OF EXPIRATION DATES FOR WELD COUNTY
LIBRARY BOARD MEMBERS - JANICE SORENSON AND RUTH GARTRELL
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , Janice Sorenson, Area 1 , and Ruth Gartrell , Area
5 , were appointed to serve as members of the Weld County Library
Board, with terms to expire November 23 , 1984 , and
WHEREAS, said appointments were by Resolution, dated Novem-
ber 23 , 1981 , and
WHEREAS, it has come to the Board' s attention that the ex-
piration dates for the above mentioned members should be May 1 ,
1984 , and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it appropriate to change the ex-
piration dates from November 23 , 1984 , to May 1 , 1984 , for the
above mentioned members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the expiration dates
for the terms of Janice Sorenson and Ruth Gartrell of the Weld
County Library Board be, and hereby are, corrected to read May
1 , 1984 , rather than November 23 , 1984 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
February, A.D. , 1984 .
