She stated she does not want another kennel one block away, and she believes the facility operator does not take proper care of the animals, and they are often tied up. Ms. Likes stated she is disabled and unable to attend the hearing; however, she wanted her testimony entered into the record. She stated many of the residences have cows, pigs,sheep,etcetera,there are a lot of dogs running at-large,and they don't need more animals. She further stated the proposed site is in poor condition and consists of two connected mobile homes. Ms.Chester stated they have been trying to clean up the neighborhood to make it a nice area for people to live,and the proposed kennel will diminish the property values. She explained there are already dog kennels on Weld County Road 18 that generate a lot of noise,and she does notwanta similar use in her subdivision.
