Dear Ms . Cousino :
The Department of Planning Services is in receipt of your request dated February 27 , 2004 , to add an
additional two antennae' s to the existing structure located at 16757 County Road 25 , Platteville , Weld
County, Colorado .
The approved permit allows for a 110 foot lattice-type free standing tower equipped with multiple low
power omni -directional , sectorized panel and microwave type antennas . Total height of the antennas is
120 feet . Permitted configuration of antennas is : four (4 ) whip antennas located near the top of the tower ,
two in the up position and 2 in the down position ; twelve ( 12 ) 1 x 4 x 0 . 67 foot panel type antennas located
as 4 antennas each within three ( 3 ) sectors , and two ( 2 ) microwave dishes located at the 70 and 80 feet
level for the tower .
Presently, there are six antennas located on the tower , with a request to add an additional two antennas .
The Department of Planning Services has determined that this is within the allowable limits of your
existing Use by Special Review Permit , USR- 1136 , and as such , an amendment to the existing application
is not warranted .
S hould the numbers exceed the number of antennas permitted under this USR permit or should the height
of the antennas exceed the permitted height of 120 feet , an amendment would be required .
Staff has included two copies of this letter for your use . To expedite your building permit application ,
please include this letter with your application materials .
