Home My WebLink About20043282.tiff 1j RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE CERTIFICATION OF WEED ENFORCEMENT LIEN -MARILYN ROBINSON AND JOHN RHOADS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 15-2-40 of the Weld County Code, the Board of County Commissioners may certify to the Weld County Treasurer any assessment for weed enforcement work not paid within 33 days, to constitute a lien against each lot or tract of land until paid, and WHEREAS, the Vegetation Management Specialist, on July 29, 2004, performed weed enforcement work on property owned by Marilyn Robinson and John Rhoads, P.O. Box 639, Keenesburg, Colorado 80643, on property described as Parcel #130533000009, Section 33, Township 2 North, Range 64 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Billing Invoice#S0043432 was delivered by Certified Return Receipt mail on August 2, 2004, in the amount of$1,332.00, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, to date, said Billing Invoice #S0043432 has not been paid, and WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to certify a lien against the property described as Parcel #130533000009, in the amount of$1,332.00. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that a lien against the property described as Parcel #130533000009, in the amount of$1,332.00, be, and hereby is, certified, pursuant to Section 15-2-40 of the Weld County Code, because of failure to pay within 33 days after July 29, 2004. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Treasurer be, and hereby is, authorized to place said lien against each lot or tract of land under the parcel numbers described above, in accordance with Section 35-5.5-109(5)(a), C. R.
