RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO LOCAL JUVENILE
SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution
dated July 7, 1993, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, together
with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District, agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services
Planning Committee, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Dan Fremont be appointed to said
committee as an additional Division of Youth Corrections representative; that Mike Savage, be
appointed as the Greeley Police Department representative, to replace Kent Donahue; and that
Glenn Vaad be appointed as Weld County Commissioner representative, to replace Bill Jerke,
and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that Dan Fremont, Mike Savage, and Glenn Vaad be appointed to
said Committee, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Dan Fremont, Mike Savage, and Glenn Vaad be, and hereby are,
recommended for appointment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 29th day of March, A.D., 2004.

Pursuant to § 19-2-211, C.R.S. and upon the recommendation of the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
IT IS ORDERED:
The following individuals are appointed to the Juvenile Services Planning Committee for
the Nineteenth Judicial District:
Dan Fremont is appointed as an additional Division of Youth Corrections representative;
Mike Savage is appointed as the Greeley Police Department representative to replace Kent
Donahue; and Glenn Vaad is appointed as Weld County Commissioner representative to replace
Bill Jerke.
