HomeMy WebLinkAbout20042723.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION VI#0300282 AGAINST JASON AND DAWN BIVENS FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Jason and Dawn Bivens, VI #0300282, are allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has not been corrected, and WHEREAS, on the 14th day of September, 2004, a public hearing was held before the Board of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and WHEREAS, Jason and Dawn Bivens were not present or represented at said hearing, although all parties were notified of said hearing by Department of Planning Services staff, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to bring legal action against those individuals named above to correct said violation. Permits are required for agricultural exempt buildings. There is no charge and no inspections are performed on the building itself. If electricity or water for livestock is included, a separate permit is required and inspections must be completed. Agricultural permits restrict you to agricultural use only; no personal vehicles or items may be stored in these buildings. I encourage you to complete building permit number BC-0101067 for the 864 square foot storage shed which has electrical included. Please keep in mind that this permit is in violation of the Weld County Code as there has been no activity for over 180 days.
