RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL COUNTY
TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Donald D. Mueller, Treasurer of Weld County, has requested authorization
to cancel County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 1476/02, with the property said Certificate
encumbers being a mobile home as described in a letter from Mr. Mueller to the Board of County
Commissioners, dated December 6, 2004, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to cancel said
County Tax Lien Sale Certificate as requested by the Weld County Treasurer, pursuant to
Section 39-10-114(2)(a), C.R.S., which authorizes the Board to cancel Tax Sale Certificates
pertaining to mobile homes, if the whereabouts of the mobile homes are unknown.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 1476/02, be, and hereby
is, canceled.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 13th day of December, A.D., 2004.
