HomeMy WebLinkAbout20041178.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE PARTIAL VACATION OF AMENDED SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #685 - MATT AND BECKY FOSHER WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated May 20, 1992, the Board did approve Special Review Permit#685 fora Kennel and Boarding Facilityfor Matt and Becky Fosher on the following described real estate, to-wit: SW1/4 of Section 16, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS,the Department of Planning Services staff recommended the partial vacation of Special Review Permit#685 as a Condition of Approval for Recorded Exemption #3524, and WHEREAS,pursuant to said Condition of Approval,the Board has received a request from Becky Fosher,32801 Weld County Road 27,Greeley,Colorado 80631,requesting vacation of that portion of Amended Special Review Permit#685 described as Lot B of RE #3524, and WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present,studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Special Review Permit #685 be, and hereby is, partially vacated, as described above. The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of April, A.D., 2004. TO: Board of County Commissioners March 29, 2004 COLORADO FROM: Sheri Lockman, Planner II SUBJECT: Partial Vacation of AMUSR-685 The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter from Becky Fosher. Ms Fosher is requesting that AMUSR-685 be partially vacated to allow a portion to be sold. Background information: Legal Description: Part of SW4 Section 16, T6N, R66W of the 6th P.M., Weld County, CO. Location: North of and adjacent to Highway 392; 1/2 mile west of County Road 31. AMUSR-685: AMUSR-685 was approved by the BOCC on May 20, 1992, for a kennel. Ms Fosher recently applied for Recorded Exemption 3524. The Department of Planning Services required the partial vacation of AMUSR-685 as a condition of approval.
