RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commisssion, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that James Welch be appointed to said board as the
District 4 representative, to replace Stephen Mckray, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Bruce Fitzgerald and Chad Auer be reappointed
to said board as the District 6 and at-large representative, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint James Welch to said board, and to
reappoint Bruce Fitzgerald and Chad Auer to said board, with terms to expire July 31, 2007.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that James Welch be, and hereby is, appointed to the Planning Commission,
with a term to expire July 31, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Bruce Fitzgerald and Chad Auer be
reappointed to said board, with terms to expire July 31, 2007.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 4th day of August, A.D., 2004.
