NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION
IN RE THE ORGANIZATION OF STONERIDGE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT, •
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there was filed in the Weld County District
Court, on the 24`h day of March 2004, a petition entitled "In Re the Organization of Stoneridge
Metropolitan District, Weld County, Colorado" (the "Petition"), which Petition prays for the
organization of the Stoneridge Metropolitan District (the "District"), pursuant to the provisions of§
32-1-301, et seq., C.R.S.
The purposes of the proposed District are as follows:
a. • Streets
b. Traffic and Safety Controls
c. Water
d. Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drainage
e. Television Relay
f Parks and Recreation
g. Mosquito Control
The District is located entirely within the Town of Firestone, Colorado. A legal description
of the property, which the proposed District encompasses, is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that any time after the filing of the Petition for the .
organization of the proposed District in the District Court for the County of Weld, but no later
than ten (10) days before the hearing on the Petition, in accordance with the provisions of§32-1-
305(3), C.R.S., the owner of any real property within the proposed District may file a petition
with the District Court stating reasons why said property should not he included therein and
requesting that said real property be excluded therefrom. Such petition shall be duly verified and
shall describe the property for which the exclusion is requested. The Court shall hear said
petition and any objections thereto and shall determine whether, in the best public interest, said
property should be excluded or included in the proposed District.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that by an Order of the Weld County District Court, a
Public Nearing on said Petition will be held at the hour of i' 1-11'Jc, o'clock . M. at the said
District Court on 4 <c , the ‘E, day of April 2004 at which time and place any
parties or persons in interest may appear if they so desire, within the limitations provided by law.

A parcel of land being the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 2 North, Range 68 \Vest
of the 6th Principal Meridian, Town of Firestone, County of Weld, State of Colorado, EXCEPT
that certain parcel of land described in deed recorded under reception no. 2694995, being more
particularly described as follow:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of Section 13;
Thence South 89°31'25" East along the north line of said Northwest Quarter, a distance of
2699.37 feet;
Thence South 00°06'24" East along the east line of said Northwest Quarter, a distance of 2213.38

Thence along the north and west lines of said parcel of land described in deed recorded under
reception no. 2694995 the following two courses:
1. North 89°53'17" West, a distance of 420.00 feet;
