referenced section.

RELEASE OF OIL AND GAS LEASE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That Kerr-McGee Rocky Mountain Corporation
successor by name change to HS Resources, Inc., a Delaware corporation, for good and valid
consideration does hereby release, relinquish, quit-claim and surrender to the Lessor, Weld County
Board of Commissioners, their heirs, assigns and legal representatives, all right, title and interest,
including the release and waiver of the right of homestead, in and to a certain oil and gas lease, made
and entered into by and between Weld County Board of Commissioners, as Lessors and E. B. O'Hara
as Lessee, dated the 29111 day of January, 1977, insofar as same covers the following described land, to-
wit:
Township 3 North, Range 61 West, 6th P.M.
Section 5: NI/2N1/2 (ada Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4)
containing 160.20 acres, more or less, situated in the County of Weld and State of Colorado, said lease
being recorded in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for said county, at Book Number 786,
Reception Number 1708284. This Release of Oil and Gas Lease is hereby executed this 26th day of
May, 2004.
