HomeMy WebLinkAbout840115.tiff A R1'i53326 RESOLUTION RE: GRANT REQUEST TO VACATE EAST 2 FEET OF THE SOUTH 110 FEET ON THE EAST SIDE OF LOT 3, BALSAM AVENUE, GREELEY, COLORADO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has received a request to vacate the east 2 feet of the south 110 feet on the east side of Lot 3, Balsam Avenue, Greeley, Colorado, and WHEREAS, that portion of Balsam Avenue is located in Sec- tion 9, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, after study and review of this matter, the Board desires to vacate that portion of Balsam Avenue, Greeley, Colo- rado located in Section 9 , Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable that the Weld County Attorney prepare a Quit Claim Deed concerning this vacation of that portion of Balsam Avenue, and WHEREAS, said Quit Claim Deed shall be executed by the Chairman of the Board and recorded in the office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request to vacate a certain portion of Lot 3, Balsam Avenue, located in Section 9, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado be, and hereby is, granted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Attorney prepare a Quit Claim Deed concerning the east 2 feet of the south 110 feet on the east side of Lot 3 , Balsam Avenue, located in Section 9, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, said Quit Claim Deed to be executed by the Chairman of the Board and recorded in the office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder.
