RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING VACATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT,
CUP #9 - REGENT BROADCASTING OF FORT COLLINS, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated March 12, 1975, the Board did approve Conditional Use
Permit, CUP #9, for the construction of a radio communications tower for Joseph J. Tenneson,
President of Colorado R. G., Inc., on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Part of the W1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 19,
Township 8 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Regent Broadcasting of Fort Collins,
Inc., current operator, to vacate said Conditional Use Permit, CUP #9, and
WHEREAS, on April 5, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners, at the request of
Planning staff, did continue this matter to April 19, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, at said meeting on April 19, 2004, staff requested another continuance to
May 19, 2004, to allow time for completion of the final building permit for the Tower.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that vacation of Conditional Use Permit, CUP#9, be,and hereby is, continued
to May 19, 2004, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 19th day of April, A.D., 2004.
