A RESOLUTION LEVYING GENERAL PROPERTY TAXES FOR
'ME YEAR 2004, TO HELP DEFRAY THE COSTS OF
GOVERNMENT FOR THE CITY OF BRIGHTON, COLORADO,
FOR THE 2005 BUDGET YEAR.
ResolutionNo. 04-158
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Brighton has adopted the 2005 budget
in accordance with Local Government Budget law;and
WHEREAS,the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general
operating purposes from property tax revenue is $1,430,756; and
WHEREAS, the 2004 net assessed valuation for the city of Brighton, as certified by
the Adams and Weld County Assessors is $207,758,360 and$7,618,490,respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Brighton,
Colorado as follows:
Section 1. That for the purposes of meeting g all general operating expenses of the
City of Brighton for the 2005 budget year, there is hereby levied a tax of 6.650 mills,
upon each dollar of the total valuation of assessment for all taxable property within the
City of Brighton for the year 2004.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to immediately
certify to the County Commissioners of both Adams County, Colorado and Weld County,
Colorado the mill levies for the city of Brighton as herein above determined and set.
ADOPTED this 7th day of December,2004.

dissolved. Certified copies of the Orders Dissolving District were transmitted to the Weld County
Clerk and Recorder on November 23, 2004 for recordation, Since the Districts have been
dissolved and are no longer in service, there will be no mill levy certified for the 2005 budget

RESOLUTION NO. 97-2004
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2004 TAX LEVY AND DIRECTING THE
CERTIFICATION OF THE SAME TO THE WELD COUNTY BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Evans, Colorado, as well as the laws of the State of
Colorado, require the City Council to establish the property tax levy so as to fix the rate of
taxation by the City of Evans upon property subject to the ad valorem property tax; and
WHEREAS, on November 16, 2004, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 87-2004
adopting the 2005 Budget; and
WHEREAS, on December 7, 2004, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 298-04
appropriating the revenues based upon the 2005 Budget. Estimated property tax revenues for the
2005 Budget are $1,056,584, although the mill levy rate allows up to $1,089,262 to be collected,
and
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1992, the People of the State of Colorado approved
Amendment 1 which added Article X, Section 20 to the State Constitution; and
WHEREAS, Article X, Section 20(4) generally prohibits any mill levy above that for a
prior year without prior voter approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANS, COLORADO:
Section 1. The property tax levy to be applied to the valuation for assessment of property
subject to taxation by the City of Evans, Colorado shall remain the same at 13.536 mills.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Treasurer are hereby authorized to sign a statement
certifying to the Board of County Commissioners and the County Assessor that the property tax
levy for 2005 has been established at 13.536 mills.
PASSED, SIGNED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Evans on this 7th day of December , 2004.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fort Lupton has adopted the 2005 Financial Plan in
accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes Title 29; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for general operating
expenses is $920,409; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to cover the debt service of the new Recreation
Center is $512,177; and
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to cover the operation & maintenance of the new
Recreation Center is $392,305; and
WHEREAS, the 2004 net assessed valuation for the City of Fort Lupton is $83,825,910.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Frederick, Colorado has adopted the

WHEREAS,the amount of money necessary to balance the budget for the bonds and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE 2004 TAX LEVY AND DIRECTING THE
CERTIFICATION OF THE SAME TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS.
WHEREAS,the Charter of the City of Greeley,Colorado,as well as the laws of the State of
Colorado, require the City Council to establish the tax levy so as to fix the rate of taxation by the
City of Greeley upon property subject to the ad valorem property tax; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered a proposed budget, and has considered the
certificate from the Weld County Assessor showing that the total assessed valuation of property
subject to the ad valorem property tax by the City of Greeley for the year of 2004 is$ 673,873,160;
and,
WHEREAS, based upon consideration of the data referred to above, the City Council has
determined that the rate of taxation necessary to produce the required tax revenues for the 2005
budget is 11.274 mills.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GREELEY, COLORADO:
Section 1. The tax levy to be applied to the valuation for assessment of property subject to
taxation by the City of Greeley, Colorado, is hereby established at 11.274 mills.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to sign a statement certifying to
the Board of County Commissioners that the tax levy for 2004 has been established at 11.274 mills.

The Board of Directors of the Henrylyn Irrigation District does hereby certify to your

The total number of acres of land subject to assessment for the year 2005 as shown by
the tax rolls in the office of the County Assessor of Weld County, Colorado, is 32,734.97
acres, all in Weld County, Colorado.
The Board of Directors of the Henrylyn Irrigation District, at a regular meeting of said
Board, held in Hudson, Colorado on the 2nd day of November, 2004, did determine the
amount of money required to meet the maintenance, operating and current expenses for
the calendar year 2005 to be the sum of$491,024.55. That a levy of Fifteen Dollars and
No Cents ($15.00),per acre, which amount includes the 15% required by law for
delinquencies, on the lands of the District, payable in the year 2005, will provide

RESOLUTION TO SET ASSESSMENT
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE YEAR 2005 TO HELP
DEFRAY THE COSTS OF OPERATING THE HENRYLYN IRRIGATION DISTRICT,
WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, FOR THE 2005 BUDGET YEAR.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Henrylyn Irrigation District has adopted
the annual budget in accordance with the Local Government Budget Law, on
November 2, 2004, and;
WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the Budget for general
operating purposes is $999,295.00, and of that amount S491,024.55 will be assessed by
the Weld County Assessor, and;
WHEREAS, the total number of acres within the Henrylyn Irrigation District, Weld
County, Colorado, to be certified to the Weld County Commissioners for the 2005
Budget Year is 32,734.97 acres;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
HENRYLYN IRRIGATION DISTRICT, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO:
Section 1. That for the purpose of meeting all general operating expenses of the
Henrylyn Irrigation District during the 2005 Budget Year, there is hereby levied an
assessment of $15.00 per acre upon lands within the Henrylyn Irrigation District for the
year 2005.
Section 2. That the Board of Directors is hereby authorized and directed to
immediately certify to the County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, the
number of acres within the Henrylyn Irrigation District, Weld County, Colorado, and
the assessment thereon as hereinabove determined and set.

FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY 2005,

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of LaSalle has appointed Bradley K.
Sorenson, Town Clerk, to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said governing body at a proper
time; and
WHEREAS, Bradley K. Sorenson, Town Clerk, has submitted a proposed budget to this
governing body on October 12, 2004 for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published or posted in accordance with the law,

6 THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LONGMONT, COLORADO, HEREBY ORDAINS:
7 Section 1
8 The Council does hereby fix and levy upon the taxable real and personal
9 property within the corporate limits of the City of Longmont, Colorado, according to the
10 assessed valuation thereof for the fiscal year 2004, a tax of 13.420 mills on each dollar
11 of said valuation, for the purposes of paying and providing for the payment of the
12 budgeted expenses of the City of Longmont for the fiscal year beginning January 1,
13 2005.
14 Section 2
15 To the extent only that they conflict with this ordinance, the Council repeals any
1s conflicting ordinances or parts of ordinances. The provisions of this ordinance are
17 severable, and invalidity of any part shall not affect the validity or effectiveness of the
18 rest of this ordinance.
