RE: APPROVE VACATION OF SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#637 - DOUGLAS BORN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution dated July 25, 1984, the Board did approve Special Review
Permit#637 for a for Douglas Born on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of RE-625; being part of Section 21, T7N,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS,the Board has received a request from Douglas Born, 7377 County Road 76,
Windsor, Colorado 80550, to vacate said Special Review Permit#637, and
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements
of those present,studied the request of the applicant and the recommendations of the Department
of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having
been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Special Review Permit#637 be, and hereby is, vacated.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of November, A.D., 2004.

SUBJECT: Vacation of USR-637
The Department of Planning Services has received the attached letter dated November 3, 2004
from Douglas J. Born. Mr. Born is requesting that USR-637 be vacated since the use is no
longer being performed on the property and the Division of Minerals and Geology permit has
been revoked.
Background information:
Legal Description: Lot B of RE-625; being part of Section 21, T7N, R65W of the 6TH P.M.,
Weld County, Colorado
Location: North of and adjacent to County Road 78; 1/2 mile east of County Road
41.
USR-737: USR-637 was approved by the BOCC on July 25, 1984, for Gravel
mining.
Mr. Born recently applied for Amended Recorded Exemption 625. Because the Use by Special
Review Permit is no longer active, the Department of Planning Services required the vacation of
USR-637 as a condition of approval. This request for vacation of USR-637 is to satisfy the
Department of Planning Services' condition.

associated Mining and Reclamation permit. Please be advised that we are vacating USR-
