RE: APPROVE CERTIFYING THE NEED FOR THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE
SERVICES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, NCMC, Inc., as part of an application for property tax exemption to the State
Property Tax Administrator, must provide a statement from the Board of County Commissioners
as to the need for the provision of health care services at those locations within Weld County,
and
WHEREAS, by Resolution #2002-3126 dated December 9, 2002, the Board of County
Commissioners certified the need for three locations within Weld County, and by Resolution
#2004-2234, a fourth location was certified, and
WHEREAS, NCMC, Inc., has requested a fifth location be certified, namely, 900 South
Cherry, Eaton, Colorado 80615, Weld County, Colorado, which contains a medical clinic
operated by Banner Health System which provides primary care services to patients in the
Eaton Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the need for the provision of health care services in Weld County at
the property located at 900 South Cherry, Eaton, Colorado 80615, be, and hereby is, certified.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 25th day of August, A.D., 2004.
