Subject: K. P. Kauffman Company, Inc , Wattenberg Injection Well—3rd Quarter Inspection, 2004
Dear Mr. Gilbert:
On August 16, 2004, a representative of the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment
(WCDPHE), conducted a routine inspection of the Wattenberg Disposal, located just east of WCR 19 and
south of Colorado Highway 52, in Weld County, Colorado. The purpose of the inspection was to inspect
and assess the facility's compliance with the "Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste Disposal Sites and
Facilities" (the Regulations) as promulgated by the Solid Waste Disposal Sites and Facilities Act, Title 30,
Article 20, part 1, C.R.S., as amended, and the Development Standards set forth in the facility's Use by
Special Review Permit number 1039 (USR-1039).
On this date, it was observed that the site appeared to be in compliance with the facility's USR - 1039. If
