Project: The section of gravel roadway is approximately 2.3 miles in length and begins at State Hwy 52 and extends
north to the I-76 frontage road. General engineering services to be provided consist of Project Survey,Project
Development,Preliminary Design,Final Design,Preparation of Construction Plans,Project Special Provisions and
Standard Specifications,and Engineers Estimate.

Consultant: Pickett Engineering,Inc., 808 8th St., Greeley, CO 80631
The following change is hereby made to the Contract Documents:
Change the original scope of work to include the following additional engineering services: (Also see attachment)
Utility potholing services
Optional designs for two existing private irrigation ponds
Redesign of several impacted irrigation ditches including replacement culverts
Redesign of Jim Creek including additional landowner meetings
Modifications to the approved drainage report based upon above redesign issues.
CHANGE TO CONTRACT PRICE:
Original Contract Price: $ 63,760.50
Current Contract Price adjusted by previous Change Order: $ 66,260.50
The Contract Price due to this Change Order will be increased by: $ 6,900.00
The new Contract Price,including this Change Order,will be$ 73,160.50
CHANGE TO CONTRACT TIME:
The Contract Time will be increased by 0 calendar days. (Contract time will be suspended during this change)
The date for completion of all Work will be unchanged .

Change Order No. 2 from Pickett Engineering,Inc.,on the WCR 51 Project in the amount of
$6,900.
Pickett Engineering is requesting a change order based upon changes to the original scope of work.
Changes to the scope of work include:
Utility potholing services
Optional designs for two existing private irrigation ponds
Redesign of several impacted irrigation ditches including replacement culverts
Redesign of Jim Creek including additional landowner meetings
Modifications to the approved drainage report based upon above redesign issues.
(See attached letter for more detailed information)
Public Works is in agreement with these changes and is recommending approval.

The proposed change to the scope of work for this project includes:
• Coordination of Utility Potholing (contracted for $2,500) for existing fiber optic and
telephone lines (completed)
• Re-design two existing irrigation ponds
• Evaluate and design the relocation of an existing irrigation/drainage ditch; adjust the
impacted culvert design; and amend the drainage report as necessary.
• Coordinate the additional easement acquisition for the relocated ditch, including meetings
and exhibits.
We suggest you budget $ 6,900 for the scope of work as defined above. We will
provide this work on a fixed fee basis, plus reimbursable expenses. We will begin the additional
work on this project once we have received a signed copy of this Change Order. Please sign both
copies and return by mail, so that an original, fully executed copy can be returned to you. This
Change Order has been written specifically to address this project and is good for 10 days.
