WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, _pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, an equipment lease between Weld County General Hospital and Coulter Leasing Corporation concerning the leasing of a Coulter S Plus has been presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the term of said lease is for 5 years and the monthly lease cost is $2 , 771. 75 , and WHEREAS, after studying said lease, the Board deems it advisable to approve the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the equipment lease between Coulter Leasing Corporation and Weld County General Hospital be, and hereby is , approved. The new Coulter will do all the same tests more efficiently (using less reagents) and also Platelet Counts. The lease is for 5 years. The capital cost of the equip- ment is $77,650.00. PURPOSE « EXPLANATION: The upgrade was approved in the 1980 budget process and in addition to doing all present tests more efficiently as the reagent costs are less (approximately $200 a month) , it also will do platelet counts. Our present lease terminates on April 1, 1980. The new equipment is here and the Coulter is requesting that the lease be signed by March 31, 1980. Capital cost of equipment is $77,650.00.
