the Board of County Commissioners on Wednesday, December 19, 1984, at
2:00 p.m. This meeting will take place in the County Commissioners' Hearing
Room, first floor, Weld County Centennial Center, 915 10th Street, Greeley,
Colorado. It is recommended that you and/or a representative be in
attendance to answer any questions the Board of County Commissioners
members might have with respect to your application.

COMMENTS:
Access to the subject site is from Weld County Road 25. There currently
exists one tower and one small (approximately eight (8) feet by twelve (12)
feet) structure on the subject site. SUP-176 was approved for this site on
October 16, 1972. It was for the existing tower. The site is relatively
level and is fenced off by three strands of barbed wire. The radio tower
and small structure are fenced in by a five and one-half foot (5-1. 1' )
(approximate height) , chain link fence topped by three strands of barbed
wire.

Re: Amended Subdivision Exemption
Gentlemen:
During 1972 the Board of County Canmissioners of Weld County approved a
Subdivision Exemption for a 1.983 acre parcel of land upon which was
constructed a radio broadcasting tower. At the present time that property and
tower is owned by O'Kieffe Broadcasting Company (KYOU and KGRE) . O'Kieffe
Broadcasting has been authorized by the ELL to increase its power and with
that authorization it is necessary that another radio tower be constructed
upon the site, and due to the size of that tower additional property is
necessary so that guy lines can be properly installed to support the new
tower.
This proposed Amended Subdivision Exemption now increases the total
parcel of property to 3.664 acres and, if approved, along with the Amended Use
by Special Review, a new tower will be constructed.
We believe the construction of the tower and amended subdivision of the
land will benefit all residents of Weld County and will not interfere in any
way with agricultural operations.
