Explain,in detail,the proposed use of the property. We want to have our home,raise animals,and run our company business. Our business pertains to hauling of oilfield water to other oilfield sites and the disposal,which is a mile from our home. 2. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code,Chapter 22 (Comprehensive Plan). We have trucks and trailers that can and have hauled hay. In limes of drought or other ads of Mother Nature,our trucks can haul water,where available,to the farm animals. The trucks can also help the county,when there is extra clean water on,they can use it to water down the roads for dust control. They also,sometimes,haul drilling mud,which can also be spread on roads to help with dust control. 3. Explain how this proposal is consistent with the intent of the Weld County Code,Chapter 23(Zoning and the zone district in which it is located) We are unaware of any PUD development proposals 4. What type of uses surrounds the site? Explain how the proposed use Is consistent and compatible with the surrounding land uses. The uses agriculture and trucking. We are consistent with the surrounding area with the animals. There are people in the surrounding areas with trucks. Some of the areas have oilfield tanks on them;our trucks haul water from them. 5. Describe,in detail the following: a. How many people will use this site? 2-12 b. How many employees are proposed to be employed at this site? 10 employees c. What are the hours of operation? 6:00 am to 10:00 pm d. What type and how many structures will be erected(built)on this site? Our home,a barnlgarage,hen house,small structures for the cow and miniature horse,and a shop with office space. e. What type and how many animals,if any,will be on this site? Right now,we have 2 big horses/miniature horse, 10 pigs,8 chickens,1 cow,3 cats and a dog. The dog,the filly,the gilts,thickens and the cats may all possibly have babies. Which some maybe kept others sold or given away. f. What kind(type,size,weight)of vehicles will access this site and how often? See attached list of vehicles that will be on premises mostly evenings and some of Saturdays and Sundays. g. Who will provide fire protection to the site? The Kersey Fire Department h. What is the water source on the property? (Both domestic and irrigation). Central Weld County Water District What is the sewage disposal system on the properly? (Existing and proposed) There is an existing septic tank. j. If storage or warehousing is proposed,what type of items will be stored? Tools,tires,hay,grain for the animals. 6. Explain the proposed landscaping for the site. The landscaping shall be separately submitted as a landscape plan map as part of the application submittal. Trees along the edges of the property,lawn around and in section in the front of the house,flowers,and split rail fence. 7. Explain any proposed reclamation procedures when termination of the the by Special Review activity occurs. Plowing up of the ground where trucks were parked and planting of grass for animals 8. Explain how the storm water drainage will be handled on the site. There are no problems with storm drainage,there have been small ones but little trenches have been dug to let the water drain off. These trenches have not been longer than 5 feet or 6 inches wide or 1 inch deep. 9. Explain how long it will take to construct this site and when construction and landscaping is scheduled to begin. The home and bam were already erected when we bought the property in February 2002. Some of the landscaping was started in the spring of that year and has been an ongoing project. 10. Explain where storage andlor stockpile of wastes will occur on this site. The storage of tires is kept in van trailers,which are hauled off to areas designated to take use tires. There is no other waste kept or stockpiled on the property.
