SUBJECT: Commissioners' Salaries for 2007 & 2008
At its September 21, 2004 meeting the Weld County Council adopted the enclosed
Resolution 144 regarding the Commissioners salaries for the years 2007 and 2008.

RESOLUTION 144
RE: SALARIES OF WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter states that the Weld
County Council shall set the salaries of all elected officials; and furthermore, in the case of County
Commissioners, the Charter provides for a delay in the effective date of said salary changes so as to
provide for equal compensation of all Commissioners at all times; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has, by a majority vote, agreed that the salaries of the
Weld County Commissioners should be as follows:
$67,000 for the year 2007
and
$69,000 for the year 2008,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County Commissioners shall be paid
$67,000 for the year 2007 to take effect on the first working day of 2007; and $69,000 for the year
2008 to take effect on the first working day of 2008.
The motion expressed in the above Resolution was duly made, seconded, and approved by
the following vote on the 21°` day of September 2004.
