Home My WebLink About810456.tiff RESOLUTION RE: DENY MOBILE HOME PERMIT #488 FOR GEORGE AND PATRICIA CASTOR FOR A MOBILE HOME AS A TEMPORARY RESIDENCE IN ADDITION TO A PRINCIPAL DWELLING FOR USE DURING A MEDICAL HARDSHIP TO BE LOCATED ON A PARCEL OF LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT 4 , BLOCK 52 , ARISTOCRAT RANCHETTES. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on the 21st day of October, 1981, considered the request of George and Patricia Castor for a mobile home as a temporary residence in addition to a principal dwelling for use during a medical hardship on a parcel of land more particularly described as follows : Lot 4, Block 52, Aristocrat Ranchettes, a subdivision of Weld County located in Section 27, Township 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having heard the applicants as well as the recommendation of the Department of Planning Services staff and the recommendation of the Aristocrat Ranchettes Citizens Committee, finds that said request should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis- sioners that the request of George and Patricia Castor for permis- sion to place a mobile home as a temporary residence in addition to a principal dwelling for use during a medical hardship on the abovedescribed parcel of land be, and hereby is, denied. From the field review of the site, the applicants operate a day care center. It is questionable to the staff that a medical hardship exists when the party suggested to have the medical condition can operate such a business. If the Board were to approved the request, conditions for this application must include that: 1. No Aristocrat Ranchettes Water Project water is to be used, rather a cistern or other alternate r source must be used; and 2. Prior to a building permit bei issued a septic permit must be granted by the Weld County Health epa tment.
