WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
® Colorado, pursuant to. Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
c
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado has reviewed the request of Mr . and Mrs. Lawrence O. Reid
for an exemption from the definition of "subdivision" and "sub-
divided land" in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973, as amended,

and Section 2-1 of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners finds that Mr.
and Mrs . Lawrence O. Reid are the owners of a parcel of land in
Part of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14 ,
Township 1 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County,
Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Reid desire said subdivision exemption
for the purpose of obtaining separate financing for the resi-
dence and 5 acres and will not create new building sites nor
separate parcels. The legal description for the abovementioned
parcel of land is as follows:
That portion of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 14, Township 1 North, Range 67
West of the 6th Principal Meridian, County
of Weld, State of Colorado, more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of: said
Southwest Quarter; thence along the North
line of said Southwest Quarter, North
89°15 '45" East 2635. 50 feet to the North-
east corner of said Southwest Quarter;
thence along the East line of said South-
west Quarter South 0°07 ' 00" West 740 .10
feet to a point on the centerline of the
Brantner Ditch, said point being the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING: thence along said

existing right of way for the Brantner
Ditch.
The above described parcel contains a
gross acreage of 5.00 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has considered
the recommendations of the Department of Planning Services in this
matter and has reviewed information submitted by the applicants .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the aforementioned tract
of land owned by the applicants be, and hereby is, declared to be
exempt from the definition of "subdivision" and "subdivided land"
as set forth in Section 30-28-101 (10) , CRS 1973, as amended, and
in Section 2-1 of the Weld County Subdivision Regulations, and
further finds that said tract shall be considered a single lot.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
February, A.D. , 1980 .
