To Whom It May Concern:
As an adjoining property owner I am protesting case number USR-1472. I am sure you
are aware of difficulties we are presently enduring with GASP going out of business and
irrigated property disappearing as a result. We don't need sixty barking dogs
compounding our problems and reducing our property values even further. These dogs
will create stress on nearby homeowners; unless of course you can restrict the kennel
from raising barking dogs. The area has enough problems with a tire dump to the west.
Please don't add another blight to the neighborhood.

The department of Planning Services would like to request the following changes to the Staff
comments.
Delete 2. E on Page 4 - The applicant shall have the existing septic system permit
reevaluated by a Professional Engineer and the septic permit be amended for commercial
uses. Evidence of approval shall be submitted to the Department of Planning Services.

Add a new condition under prior to recording the plat - The applicant shall provide written
evidence to the Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment that the
applicant has contacted the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA), Division of Animal
Industry. This contact shall determine if a license under the Pet Animal Care Facilities
Act (PACFA), as defined under C.R.S. 35-80-101 through 117. C.R.S. is required, or
provide evidence that the applicant is not subject to the PACFA requirements.
