Home My WebLink About20040326.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT#1 TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL DATAACCESS CONTRACT FOR EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,the Board has been presented with Amendment#1 to the Intergovernmental Data Access Contract for employment and training programs between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,on behalf of the Department of Human Services, Employment Services Division,and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, commencing upon full execution of said amendment, and ending February 28, 2005, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and WHEREAS,after review,the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment,a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Amendment #1 to the Intergovernmental Data Access Contract for employment and training programs between the County of Weld,State of Colorado,by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Human Services, Employment Services Division,and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be,and hereby is,authorized to sign said amendment. The purpose for this amendment is described below. An amendment is necessary to extend the contract term to coordinate timing for transition to a new information system implementation effort. Consideration for this amendment to the Original Contract, contract routing number 01 KAA00150, dated February 28, 2001, consists of the payments, which shall be made pursuant to this amendment and the promises and agreements herein set forth. 2. It is expressly agreed by the parties that this amendment is supplemental to the Original Contract, referred to as the "Original Contract,"which is, by this reference, incorporated herein, that all terms, conditions, and provisions thereof, unless specifically modified herein, are to apply to this amendment as though they were expressly rewritten, incorporated, and included herein. 3. It is agreed the original contract is and shall be modified, altered, and changed in the following respects only': ' Deletions to the Original Contract appear in"strikeout"format. The effective date of this Intergovernmental Data Access Contract is March 1, 2001. The initial term of this Intergovernmental Data Access Contract shall commence on March 1, 2001, and end on February 28, 2002. Unless previously terminated by one of the parties pursuant to the terms of this Intergovernmental Data Access Contract, this Intergovernmental Data Access Contract shall automatically renew for two(2)three (3) successive terms of one (1)year each beginning on March 1, 2002. D. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS. 11. Notice Procedure. All notices required, or permitted,to be given under this Intergovernmental Data Access Contract shall be in writing.
