Re: Intergovernmental Consultation
Dear County Commissioners:
We have made application for a loan guarantee to the USDA-Rural Development. This request has
been made on behalf of Thomas A. and Jacob P. Bragg and Bragg Enterprises, Inc. This business
entity conducts its operations out of a commercial property located at 320 Gateway Drive,
Johnstown, Colorado. The purpose of the loan is to enable the applicant to obtain long-term
financing, at a lower interest rate, for consolidation of existing debt. Rural Development regulations
require, pursuant to Executive Order 12372, "Intergovernmental Review of Federal Programs, proof
that applicable Federal, State and local units of government have been notified of the proposed
financial assistance and direct development activities." With this notification, we solicit your
comments as they pertain to the proposed project. Your comments will be appreciated and will be
considered prior to the RD making a final decision on the proposal.
This process takes the place of the "Single Point of Contact" (SPOC) for intergovernmental review of
Federal programs that was originally administered by the Colorado Department of Local Affairs
(DOLA). DOLA discontinued the SPOC process in 1994.
We request you notify us, with your comments if any, within 45 days from the date of this letter. No
response is necessary if there are no comments to be made.
Should there be any questions, please contact me at 720-279-2372. Your interest and assistance in
this matter is appreciated.
Respectfully,
Sleafrited'i
