HomeMy WebLinkAbout20042532.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ITEMIZING LEGAL HOLIDAYS DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2005 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, following is a list of holidays proposed for 2005 as days off for Weld County employees: New Year's Day January 1, 2005 falls on Saturday, therefore, day off is Friday, December 31, 2004 Washington/Lincoln Day Monday, February 21, 2005 Memorial Day Monday, May 30, 2005 Independence Day Monday, July 4, 2005, and Friday, July 1, 2005 (replaces Colorado Day) Labor Day Monday, September 5, 2005 Veterans Day Friday, November 11, 2005 Thanksgiving Thursday, November 24, 2005, and Friday, November 25, 2005 (replaces King's Birthday) Christmas December 25 falls on a Sunday, therefore, day off is Monday, December 26, 2005, and Friday, December 23, 2005 (replaces Columbus Day) FLOATING HOLIDAYS: Sheriffs Department (Court Personnel) -- Will follow holiday schedule as set by State of Colorado.
