RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Mary Ann Cothren be appointed to said board,
to replace Gordon Ledall; that Bob Gorman be appointed to replace Barbara Carter; that George
Gray be appointed to replace Jane Evans Cornelius; that Justin Sidwell be appointed to replace
Randy Spaedt; that Ash Janssen be appointed to replace Glenn Ledall as the Future Farmers of
America representative;that Katie Samples be appointed to replace Ashley Gross as the 4H Youth
Executive Council representative;and that Rosa Esparza be appointed to replace John Scanga,and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Glenn Ledall be reassigned to regular member
status, to replace Jim Dwyer, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended and the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Matt
Butler, and Judy Stevens to said board, with terms expiring September 30, 2008.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that Matt Butler, and Judy Stevens be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Fair
Board, with terms to expire September 30, 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado,that Katie Samples,and Rosa Esparza be, and hereby are,appointed to the Fair Board,
with terms to expire September 30, 2006; Glenn Ledall be, and hereby is, reassigned to the Fair
Board, with a term to expire September 30, 2007; and Mary Ann Cothren, Bob Gorman, George
Gray,Justin Sidwell,and Ash Janssen be,and hereby are, appointed to the Fair Board,with terms
to expire September 30, 2008.
