To Whom It May Concern:
I was notified of the Legg's request for a permit to build a kennel by your office and wanted you to
know that I am completely in favor of it. I am a 9 year resident of Aristocrat Acres. As you know,
there are several kennels on the north side of Weld County Road 18,and have been for some time. I
was totally unaware of that fact until about 4 years ago,when I met members of the Legg family and
was invited to see their operation. Since then I have met other kennel operators in the area and
have had the experience of viewing their kennels and spending time with their animals. Herb and
Karen are conscientious neighbors and great members of this community. Their dog operation is
clean,quiet,and unobtrusive, I was very surprised to realize the number of dogs on the farms and
I'd never noticed them. I moved here for the peaceful rural atmosphere and these dog farms across
the street contribute greatly to that. We have no traffic or noise problems,and the animals are well
cared for and healthy. The Legg,Willis,and Frank families conduct themselves and their businesses
in a professional and courteous manner and their properties are kept up. Please give them special
consideration. They are an asset to our community and to our way of life out here.
