RESOLUTION
RE : APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT FOR USE OF GRAVEL FOR ROAD PURPOSES
BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND AGNES LAMONT, GEORGE J. LAMONT,
AND JIM D. LAMONT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County is in need of gravel material for the
construction of county roads, and
WHEREAS, Agnes Lamont, George J. Lamont and Jim D. Lamont
own certain land on which there is gravel material suitable
for use in construction of county roads, and
WHEREAS, an agreement for use of gravel for road purposes
between Weld County and Agnes Lamont, George J. Lamont and
Jim D. Lamont has been presented to the Board of County
Commissioners, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it ad-
visable and in the best interests of Weld County, to approve
said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement for
use of gravel for road purposes between Weld County and Agnes
Lamont, George J. Lamont and Jim D. Lamont be, and hereby is,
approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day
of October, A.D. , 1981.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 7th day of October
1981, by and between THE COUNTY OF WELD, STATE OF COLORADO, hereinafter called
"County", and AGNES LAMONT, GEORGE J. LAMONT, and JIM D. LAMONT, hereinafter
called "Owners".
The parties mutually agree as follows:
1. Term of Agreement. The term of this agreement shall be for a
period of one (1) year from the date of execution, provided that
this agreement shall be automatically renewed from year to year
unless terminated by 30 days notice by either party.
2. Property Description. The Owners agree to grant to the County the
right to remove gravel from the sand bluff on the south side of
Owners driveway in Section 17, Township 4 North, Range 61 West and
as specifically pointed out by the Owner. The County will give the
Owner at least one (1) week's notice prior to commencing operations
to permit the Owner to determine the exact location of the mining
operations.
3. Consideration. The County agrees to plow Owner's driveway to remove
snow whenever the County is plowing Weld County Road 87.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed this agreement
the day and year first above written.
