RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY
REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,vacancies currently exist on the Juvenile Community Review Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Mark Gonzales be appointed to said board
as the alternate Bar Association representative, to replace Rick Brady; that Trevor McQuain be
appointed as alternate Mental Health representative,to replace Laura Daniel;that Jerry Borger be
appointed to said board as the alternate citizen representative, to replace Louisa Warfield, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Rick Brady be reassigned to said board as
the Bar Association representative, to replace Sunita Sharma; that Paulette Tarnasky be
reappointed to said board as the Mental Health representative;that Patty Hughes be reappointed to
said board as the citizen representative; that Matthew Friesen be reappointed as the Department
of Youth Services representative;that Dan Freemont be reappointed to said board as the alternate
Department of Youth Services representative, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Mark Gonzales, Trevor McQuain,
and Jerry Borger to said board, to reassign Rick Brady to said board, and to reappoint Paulette
Tarnasky, Patty Hughes, Matthew Friesen, and Dan Freemont to said board,all with terms to expire
November 1, 2008, and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Mark Gonzales, Trevor McQuain, and Jerry Borger be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Juvenile Community Review Board, with terms to expire November 1, 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado,that Rick Brady be,and hereby is reassigned to the Juvenile Community Review Board,
with a term to expire November 1, 2008.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Paulette Tarnasky, Patty Hughes, Matthew Friesen, and Dan Freemont be, and
hereby are, reappointed to the Juvenile Community Review Board, with terms to expire
November 1, 2008.
