To: The Weld County Board of County Commissioners
Subject: Remodeling of 4-H Building
The Board of Directors of Colorado Ag Ed, Inc. , (Colorado Farm
Show sponsor) has established a building and/or improvement fund
of $10,000.00 for 198k_85 to improve the facilities at Island Grove
Park (County area) .
Our priorities for remodeling are as follows :
First A. Remove permanent partition between upstairs room,
install an accordian type door.
B. Carpet the large room (upstairs) .
C. Put up drapes, shades or etc. , so that lighting
can be adjusted.
D. Establish electric harness for exhibits and increase
carrying capacity of existing electrical outlets on
main floor and kitchen of 4-H Building.
E. Build a temporary tunnel. (with pipes and plastics )
between Exhibition Building and 4-H Building and
4-H Building to the Livestock Building.
Second A. Change heating system in upstairs room to a quieter
running type or enclose to lessen the noise.
B. Add air conditioning unit to the system.
C. Establish an air lock at the main entrance of the
Exhibition Building.
Please understand that ali of the first priorities are needed
for the expansion and for the C .A.E. funds to be committed. Hope-
fully we will be able to establish this building and/or improvement
fund to continue to expand or improve the facilities at Island Grove
Park.
