HomeMy WebLinkAbout20052770 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE PETITION FOR ABATEMENT OR REFUND OF TAXES - ANDRE CIARAVOLA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, State of Colorado, at a duly and lawfully called regular meeting held on the 14th day of September,2005, at which meeting there were present the following members: Chair William H.Jerke,and Commissioners M.J.Geile, David E. Long, Robert D. A Weld County Assessor named Vermeda requested Weld County GIS to plot the property from the 1987 deed and confirm the actual size of the property. The size was confirmed at 1.796 Acres, much less than the 3 acres that the property was valued at for tax purposes. Based on this new unit of measure totaling only 1.796 acres, I respectfully request an abatement be authorized for the above named tax years.
