We are not attempting to affect Mr. Lafferty's lifestyle or his attempts to make a living. Mr.
Lafferty is a wonderful caretaker of these calves. We hope that he can continue to do so.
We do, however, have concerns regarding Mr. Lafferty's intent to increase his business to 150
calves. We arc concerned that the huts have affected our property value. Our home faces SW,
so our only view on 2 sides of our property is the huts used to house the calves. The huts are
lined up along the road leading to/from our home. We are always working at improving &
maintaining our property & feel that the view of the 100+huts diminishes all that we have
attempted to do to improve our property value.
We have concerns of not being able to sell our borne if we were to put it on the market. Our
realtor feels strongly that the view of the huts next door is not a positive asset when trying to sell_
If we had bought the house with the current situation that would be one thing, but the huts have
been added since. If I had seen the house with the existing view, I would have looked elsewhere
to live.
Mr. Lafferty has assured us that he does not intend to get any larger&he is willing to move the
huts so that they do not run parallel the whole length of our property. If Mr. Lafferty were to
move the huts as previously discussed¬ increase the number of calves that he currently has,
we would have no objections to his continuing as he is.

We have no objections to Chad&Angela Lease's intent to build a larger home on their property.
The Lease's are an asset to our neighborhood& we hope they have the opportunity to build the
home they need for their growing family.
