RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES
PLANNING COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution dated
July 7, 1993,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,together with the Chief
Judge of the Judicial District,agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee,and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that John Wilde be appointed to said committee to
replace Rochelle Galeyas the Island Grove Treatment Center Program representative;and Susan
Knox be appointed to replace Patryce Engel as the District Attorney's representative; and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the
Nineteenth Judicial District that John Wilde be appointed to said committee to replace Rochelle
Galeyas the Island Grove Treatment Center Program representative;and Susan Knox be appointed
to replace Patryce Engel as the District Attorney's representative.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County,Colorado,that John Wilde and Susan Knox be,and hereby are,recommended to the Chief
Judge of the Judicial District for appointments to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 2nd day of May, A.D., 2005.
