RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Sharon Dunn be appointed to said board as the
small business representative to replace Dr. Dora Johnson, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Mary Lichter, as a small business
representative, Fernando Rodriquez,as the labor union representative,Bemard Ruesgen,as a large
business representative,and William Garcia,as a small business representative,be reappointed
to said board, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Sharon Dunn to said board,with a term
to expire December 31, 2007, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Mary Lichter, Fernando Rodriquez,
Bernard Ruesgen, and William Garcia to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2007.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado,that Sharon Dunn be,and hereby is,appointed to the Workforce Development
Board, with a term to expire December 31, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Mary Lichter, Fernando Rodriquez,
Bernard Ruesgen,and William Garcia be, and hereby are, reappointed to said board, all terms to
expire December 31, 2007.

The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by
the following vote on the 9th day of May, A.D., 2005.
