RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Cindy Olivas be appointed to said board as a
small business representative to replace Edward Rubadue, and
WHEREAS,it has been recommended that Dwayne Newkirk be appointed to said board as
a large business representative to replace Bernard Ruesgen, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jeffrey Carlson, and Ronnella Reisler be
reappointed to said board in new small business positions, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Cindy Olivas, Dwayne Newkirk, and
Jeffery Carlson to said board, with terms to expire December 31, 2007, and
WHEREAS,the Board deems it advisable to appoint Ronnella Rissler to said board,with a
term to expire December 31, 2006.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Cindy Olivas, Dwayne Newkirk, and Jeffery Carlson be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with a term to expire December 31, 2007.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Ronnella Rissler be, and hereby is,
appointed to said board, with a term to expire December 31, 2006.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 15th day of August, A.D., 2005.
