Highway Users Tax Fund : Copies of the County' s letter to Colorado
Counties, Inc. were sent to Senators Dan Noble and Tilman
Bishop. The County also offered its assistance in their
efforts to obtain additional funding sources for highway
needs in Colorado.
SB 122, concerning the increase of the interest rate on tax sale
redemptions to one and one-half percent until redeemed.
The County Treasurer has asked that the Board to support
the interest rate increase. The Board will be sending
letters to the Legislators within the next week supporting
SB 122.
