RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER GLENN VAAD TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Commissioner Glenn Vaad has been assigned to Coordinate the
Department of Health Services, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Vaad be appointed to
represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
North Colorado Medical Center
Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority Board
E-470 Public Highway Authority (regular member)
Island Grove Park Board
Local Emergency Planning
Northwest Parkway Public Highway Authority (regular member)
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Vaad to said boards,
with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Commissioner Glenn Vaad be, and hereby is, appointed to the
above listed boards, with his term on each board to expire December 31, 2005.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 3rd day of January, A.D., 2005.
