Home My WebLink About20053547.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE RECOMMENDATION OF APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE SERVICES PLANNING COMMITTEE WHEREAS,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,pursuant to Section 19-2-1602.7 of House Bill 93-134 and by Resolution dated July 7, 1993,the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,together with the Chief Judge of the Judicial District,agreed to create the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee,and WHEREAS,it has been recommended that David Simental be appointed to said committee to replace Dana Wilks as the Probation Officer representative; and Magistrate Rebecca Koppes Conway be appointed to replace Magistrate Julie Hoskins; and WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to recommend to the Chief Judge of the Nineteenth Judicial District that David Simental be appointed to said committee to replace Dana Wilks as the Probation Officer representative; and Magistrate Rebecca Koppes Conway be appointed to replace Magistrate Julie Hoskins. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,Colorado,that David Simental and Magistrate Rebecca Koppes Conway be, and hereby are,recommended to the Chief Judge of the Judicial Districtfor appointments to the Local Juvenile Services Planning Committee. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of December, A.D., 2005.
