HomeMy WebLinkAbout20051217.tiff RESOLUTION RE: ACCEPT CONVEYANCE OF OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR POUDRE RIVER TRAIL - NE1/4, S36, T6N, R66W WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners #2004-0400, dated February4,2004,the Board approved an agreement for the donation of rights-of-way for the Poudre River Trail from Flatiron Companies LLC and Cottonwood Land and Farms, Ltd., and WHEREAS,said rights-of-way are located in the NE1/4 of Section 36,Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS,Weld County now desires to accept the conveyance of ownership of said rights- of-way by quit claim deeds from Flatiron Companies, LLC and Cottonwood Land and Farms, Ltd. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the rights-of-way located in the NE1/4 of Section 36, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, as conveyed by quit claim deeds from Flatiron Companies, LLC and Cottonwood Land and Farms, Ltd., be, and hereby are, accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Weld County Clerk to the Board be, and hereby is,directed to forward said quit claim deeds to the Office of the Weld County Clerk and Recorder for recording. The above and foregoing Resolution was,on motion duly made and seconded,adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of April, A.D., 2005.
