RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL COUNTY
TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Donald D. Mueller, Treasurer, has requested authorization to cancel County
Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 683/95, because of a subsequent assignment to the Greeley
Urban Renewal Authority of a Tax Sale Certificate regarding the subject property, as described in
a letter from Mr. Mueller to the Board of County Commissioners, dated February 4, 2005, which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to cancel said
County Tax Lien Sale Certificate as requested by the Weld County Treasurer, pursuant to
Section 39-10-114(2)(a), C.R.S.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 683/95, be, and hereby is,
canceled.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 14th day of February, A.D., 2005.

MEMO TO: WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
On November 2, 1995 Tax Lien Sale Certificate 683/95 was sold to Jeanette M. Deherrera for
the following property:
ACCOUNT #R0367594
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: GR 4116-A N10' VAC ALLEY ADJ TO L3 BLK27
CLAYTON PARK
I am hereby asking for TS CERT 683/95 to be canceled because of a second tax lien sale
certificate of purchase was sold on November 6, 1997 to Weld County. Weld County assigned
TS CERT 804/97 to Greeley Urban Renewal Authority on September 22, 2004. Greeley Urban
Renewal Authority made application for a Treasurer's Deed to the property and at that time
Jeanette M. Deherrera was notified and given the opportunity to endorse all subsequent taxes
onto her certificate and make application for a Treasurer's Deed herself. Jeanette M. Deherrera
chose not to take any action. The Treasurer's Deed was issued to Greeley Urban Renewal
Authority. This created the need of a resolution by the Board of County Commissioners to
cancel TS CERT 683/95.
